Overview

Shield Marine were contracted to assist with the conversion works on a multi purpose cargo carrier.

The cargo vessel required structural changes in order to expand the service provided. In addition to the structural changes, structural insulation upgrades and improvements were also required, along with machinery space changes and exhaust insulation upgrades.

Additional storage was required under the main decks, including space for a new freezer. These areas also required escape tunnels, A60 doors, insulation and cladding.
